About Us
The National Psycho-Social Educational Trust was established and registered formally in the year 2009 under the Indian Trust Act by some educated, trained, veteran and dedicated humanitarian persons under the able leadership of Dr. Amitava Bhattacharya.
The NPSET has been engaged basically in Education, Counseling, Training of the Mentally Deficient / Autistic Children and their parents / Guardians and in different related Welfare & Developmental activities successfully since its inception.
To achieve the goal of the Trust (NPSET) an innovative approach of implementation of integrated Psycho-Social Education, Rehabilitation, Community Welfare & Development Program and Advocacy has been taken up where the methodology includes the challenging role and participation of the traditional social leaders and humanitarian individuals of the respective areas.
Mission
The MISSION of National Psycho-Social Educational Trust is to prepare children physically & hone them mentally by enabling them to enter into any walk of life and make them realize their own self, training them to be independent in all basic life skills. We also intends to develop a new technique in education, a method for drawing out the talents latent in every target child.
Vision
The VISION of National Psycho-Social Educational Trust is to render Psycho-Social Education, Case Work, Group Counseling & Therapeutic Services to all children with ‘Special Needs’ and enable them independency in all aspects of daily living.
Free Schooling for Unprivileged Special Children, Residential Rehabilitation and Free Vocational Training Centre for unprivileged adults with special needs and a Training Centre for Teachers, Special Educators, Therapists and Parents are planned for future. Our Trust also envision to send children with special needs to mainstream education in regular school.
